Abstract

Despite the critical role of real-time communication, Nigerian broadcasting professionals constantly operate under high-stress environments, leaving a significant empirical gap regarding how workforce well-being and institutional climates concurrently alter performance in localized media sectors. This study adopted a quantitative, cross-sectional design to investigate the relationships between employee wellness, organisational culture, and Organisational productivity among 183 staff across registered FM radio stations in Minna, Niger State. Data collected from a sample of 123 respondents were analysed using PLS-SEM. The results revealed that Employee Wellness (???? = 0.341,???? = 0.003) and Organisational Culture (???? = 0.472,???? = 0.001) both exert significant positive direct effects on Organisational Productivity, collectively explaining 68.9% of its variance (????2 = 0.689). However, their
interactive effect was statistically non-significant (???? = −0.118,???? = 0.131). It is concluded that wellness and culture operate as independent, parallel performance pillars requiring concurrent management to optimize broadcasting efficiency.
